Natixis, alongside Crédit Foncier de France, acted as joint arranger of the €650 million funding for the closing of Foncière Vesta in the residential housing sector.
The transaction, raised by Ampere Gestion (CDC Habitat) and Swiss Life Asset Managers, Real Estate France covers a 128 buildings portfolio that includes circa 4,000 housing units. It underpins the operational stability of Foncière Vesta, and will be used to fund an ambitious construction programme in addition to those development schemes already identified, the company indicates in a statement.
This innovative funding package has been secured within a tight timeline, with the advantage of favorable market conditions. It is a testimony of the increasing interest of institutional investors for residential asset classes, where Natixis aims to become a major player.
