Yconik FttH broadband network in Yonne

Natixis, alongside Caisse d'Epargne Bourgogne Franche-Comté and 4 other lenders, supports Altitude Infrastructure THD for the construction, operation, maintenance and marketing of Yconik, the Fiber to the Home (FttH) broadband network in Yonne (France). Yconik aims to cover 100% of the Yonne population in fiber optics. In a statement, Altitude Infrastructure THD explains that as part of the 30-year concessional public service delegation that it has been assigned in February 2020, it has made two major commitments: industrial deployment (nearly 120,000 sockets will be built in 36 months) and full private funding of the network (no public subsidy), for an amount of €190.6 million.

Groupe BPCE is committed to the development of fiber optic network infrastructures in France and thus to the digital development of the territory, and is proud to support this project which contributes to the implementation of the “Very High Speed Networks” French plan and more specifically to its deployment in rural areas of the Yonne department.
