Success of the Compagnie des Alpes capital increase

Natixis acted as Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner of the €231 million capital increase with preferential subscription rights of Compagnie des Alpes.

Compagnie des Alpes is a leading European leisure company operating 10 ski resorts in France and 13 leisure parks in Europe, including Parc Astérix, Walibi and Futuroscope.

Highly impacted by the pandemic, the group's activity has just started up again with the reopening of its sites on June 9. With better visibility, the group decided to strengthen its equity in order to regain the flexibility needed to finance its growth ambitions.

The capital increase was strongly supported by shareholders and the market with a subscription rate of 116%.

This transaction is the 7th capital increase led in France by Natixis' Strategic Equity Capital Markets teams since the beginning of 2021.
