Natixis acted as Sole Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner for the refinancing of Northern Solar, a 4-solar PV assets portfolio located in Ontario (Canada) with a combined aggregate capacity of 34MW-DC. They are all fully owned by Axium Infrastructure and started commercial operation end-2014.
The assets sell their electrical output pursuant to 20-year feed-in tariff contracts with the Independent Electricity System Operator in Ontario. The approximately CAD 160 million hybrid debt package arranged by Natixis included a fixed rate tranche subscribed by an institutional investor from Natixis’ Infrastructure Debt Platform.
