Natixis bookrunner of the "Transition" SPAC IPO

Natixis acted as joint bookrunner in the €215m IPO of "Transition" on Euronext.

"Transition" is a special purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”) dedicated to the energy transition, the first of its kind in Europe.

It is led by founders Xavier Caïtucoli, former CEO of Direct Energie, Erik Maris and investment company Eiffel Essentiel, represented by Fabrice Dumonteil.

The company expects to look for businesses and/or companies in the energy transition sector (renewable energy production and energy efficiency) in Europe.

With this transaction, Natixis demonstrates its agility in positioning on the new promising SPAC market in Europe, while focusing on one of its strategic sectors, renewable energies.

The transaction was executed by Natixis SECM team in coordination with our equity partner ODDO BHF.

We thank our client for their trust in Natixis on this amazing project.
