Aitor Alava and Ben Koehler's article on Solar DG growth in Chile featured in PFI's 2021 Yearbook

Aitor Alava, Head of Global Infrastructure & Projects Latin America, and Ben Koehler, Executive Director of Infrastructure Finance Americas, co-authored a feature on Chile's solar DG growth in the highly anticipated Project Finance International 2021 Yearbook.

As described in the article, industry projections indicate that Distributed Generation (DG) will continue to grow at double-digit rates and account for roughly 10% of total installed electricity generation capacity by 2030. Aitor and Ben explain how the growth of DG has the potential to mitigate transmission bottlenecks, efficiently supply industry and residences, and serve last-mile demand in many countries throughout Latin America.

Considered one of the most influential publications in global project finance, the annual PFI Yearbook presents contributions and case studies from notable players in the infrastructure finance industry.
