Natixis featured in 100 Women in Finance Event


To mark International Women’s Day, Victoria Goodenough, Executive Director, Aviation Syndication, EMEA, Natixis participated in a panel discussion for the Irish Chapter of 100 Women in Finance.

The event was sponsored by Avolon and was the inaugural Irish 100 Women in Finance Aviation event, discussing Ireland as a leading international hub for Aircraft Leasing.

Ireland, a leading international hub for Aircraft Leasing

In Ireland, the aerospace and aviation industry has grown rapidly in recent years, with over fifty companies in the aerospace and space sector employing 5,000 people and contributing more than €550m annually to the Irish economy.

Panellists discussed the importance of aircraft leasing to airlines, the attraction of corporates to Ireland, the impact of Brexit, lessors’ access to financing through the cycle and how the aviation industry can best promote diversity, particularly at a senior level.

This event was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Natixis as a leading and longstanding bank in Aviation, in addition to reflecting on the importance of supporting diversity through internal initiatives such as the Women in Natixis Network (WiNN).

100 Women in Finance is the leading global affinity group for women in finance and alternative investments industries. For more than 17 years, 100 Women in Finance has been working to effect change in the finance industry and beyond, the group has grown organically from a single New York City location to 23 locations spanning four continents.
